Um Dia a Gente Viveu Junto

The collective exhibition "Um Dia a Gente Viveu Junto” (“One Day We Lived Together") held at Xow.Rumi in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, brought together the work of select artists from the laboratories of Fabia Schnoor at the Visual Arts School of Parque Lage.

In the exhibition, I shared paintings and drawings made from reused cardboard boxes collected from everyday life that sought to interrupt the automatic flow of the "receive-open-discard" pattern. An exchange system was created for the exhibition around the central theme of the series: an investigation into the silencing of our desires.

The exhibition unfolded into a roundtable discussion and an urban occupation with posters spread throughout the streets of Rio de Janeiro.
